Overview of the Poiema Ministry
Poiema Ministry was founded in Mekelle, Tigray, in April 2024. Our mission is to successfully support to deliver the life-changing message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ via text, audio, video, songs and arts. Drawing inspiration from Ephesians 2:10 (NASB), which states that "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.” The word for workmanship is the Greek word poiema. Poiema means in context something made by God Himself. Our ministry is committed to utilizing the creative abilities present in our communities to foster the spread of the Gospel and our goal is to do this through creative methods that make use of media technology and artistic expression.
